RES Picture Day is coming soon! Fall Pictures will be September 22, 2026. Everyone who gets their picture taken will receive a photo proof (at a later date) so that you can purchase your child's picture.

RES is having our PBIS Back to School Bash Fun Day on Friday, September 4, 2026. There will be inflatables, wet activities, and sweet treats. Please send an extra change of clothes and a towel for your child in case they get wet. This event is for RES students only and is closed to the public.

The Richlands Elementary School Golf Tournament will be on Friday, September 18, 2026. This event will be held at the Tazewell County Country Club. Registration begins at 12:00 pm. The tournament will officially begin at 1:00pm. Lunch will be provided. There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place. We would love to have everyone help us "Drive Change, One Swing at a Time". To sponsor a hole during the tournament, will be $100 for one hole or co-sponsor one hole for $50.

📚💉 Back-to-School Immunization Clinic – Tomorrow! The Tazewell County Health Department will be offering required back-to-school immunizations for students entering 7th and 12th grades tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 📍 Location: 253 Chamber Drive Tazewell, VA ✅ Walk-ins are welcome! Help your student start the school year ready by making sure their required immunizations are up to date. We appreciate the Tazewell County Health Department for helping keep our students healthy and prepared for a successful school year!

All student medications need to be picked up by a parent or guardian on or before your child's last day of school. No medications will be held over the summer for the next school year.
