
The TCPS School Board announced tonight that the last day of school for students will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The last day of school for teachers will be Thursday, June 6, 2024.


Everyone is invited to the Art Show and Silent Auction at RES on March 14, 2024 from 4-6pm


Richlands Area:
Bus 93 will not run.
Buses 30, 84, and 91 will transport those students.
Bus 30-Indian Creek to Ravens Nest Branch / Bus 84-Indian Creek after Ravens Nest Branch / Bus 91-McQuire Valley
Graham Area :
Abbs Valley / Pocahontas
Bus 28 will not run.
Bus 96 will be delivering all students.
Please expect delays.

RES was blessed to have students from The RMS Kindness Committee come to read to our students in grades 3-5. We really enjoyed their visit.










RHS Beta Club came to read to our students in grades 3-5 on Thursday, March 7. Our teachers and students really enjoyed this.










RES loved having readers from The Richlands Women's Club on Thursday, March 7. Thank you ladies for reading you our students in Pre-K through second grade.










We appreciate the RHS Library Club for reading to our students today. Everyone enjoyed their visit!





Students are RES were visited by the Cookie Monster last week. Thank you to Shanna Plaster, with Communities in Schools. The students and staff loved this visit.

RES welcomes readers from The RMS Kindness Committee. This group of wonderful students came to read to our RES students in Pre-K through 2nd grade.

Wednesday, February 21 is cap and gown pictures for our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 5th grade students. It is also our classroom group pictures. All of these pictures must be prepaid. If you need additional forms, please come by the office. We will begin pictures at 8:30 on Wednesday morning.



Bluefield / Graham Area:
Buses 71, 41, and 7 will be picking up bus 69 students. Expect a delay.
Richlands Area:
Buses 1 and 14 will be picking up bus 65 students. Expect a few minutes delay.
