Richlands Elementary will be having a Lockdown Drill at some point tomorrow, September 6, 2024. This is just a drill.
Today is TCPS Custodian, Maintenance, and Grounds Worker Appreciation Day! We would like to thank our staff for all they do to keep our schools looking beautiful!
We have openings for substitute school nurses. If you are interested in applying, please visit Central Office at 506 Jeffersonville Street in Tazewell, Virginia. Please ask to speak with Mr. Glayde Brown or Ms. Kayla Myers. You may also call 276-988-5511 ext. 2220.
Richlands Elementary School will be open on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. All schools will be open on regular schedule.
Due to a water line break & needed repairs, Richlands Elementary School will be closed Tuesday, August 20, 2024. This is only for Richlands Elementary School. All other schools & offices will be open for school.

Our Back to School Orientation Nights are coming up soon. ECSE through first grades will be held on Monday, August 12 from 4:00-6:00. Second through fifth grades will be held on Tuesday, August 13 from 4:00-6:00. We are so excited to see everyone. Teacher assignment letters will be mailed by the first of next week. We look forward to an amazing school year.
