Tazewell County Public Schools will operate on a virtual schedule for Friday, January 10, 2025. Meal service will be provided in school cafeterias from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tazewell County Public Schools will operate on a virtual schedule Thursday, January 9, 2025. Meal service will be provided in school cafeterias from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Due to power outage, AVES students may pick up meals at any Bluefield area school.

Our RES Choir students did fantastic with their very first concert. We are so proud of them and all the hard work they did the past few months. A big thank you to Ms. Alex Sparks for leading this choir and to Ms. Addie Deskins and Ms. Stephanie Mullins for helping. If you missed this concert, you can always come out in the spring and watch them. #RESFunLearning
Tazewell County Public Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay Thursday, December 12, 2024.
RES Parent Boosters are selling 2024 Christmas ornaments with your child’s class picture like the one shown here. *(Faces in the example have been covered)*
The ornaments are $12 each. Order forms have been sent home, but you may also order by sending a parent note with your child’s name, grade, and teacher name along with the money to the homeroom teacher. The deadline for orders to be delivered before Christmas break is now extended to this Thursday, December 12, 2024. Any order received after this date is not guaranteed before Christmas break.
